Brando de Oliveira
Corporate Executive Chef
With more than twenty years experience in top kitchens throughout Europe, Chef de Oliveira has worked at Milan's Antica Osteria del Ponte, a Michelin three-star restaurant, with Chef Ezio Santin, and at the Centro di Cultura Enogastronomica, also in Milan. Before coming to the United States, Chef de Oliveira held chef positions at the Hotel Fiera's Il Califfo Ristorante, Ristorante Rotonda, Hotel Miramare and Ristorante Oberdan Teresina, all of Bologna, as well as the Hotel La Torra in Belgium.
In 2002, Chef de Oliveira joined the Fireman Hospitality Group as Executive Chef of Café Fiorello. Previously, he spent four years with New York chef Charles Palmer at Aureole, as Executive Chef for the Creative Events division. De Oliveira received his Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts from the University of Bologna. He received a Master's Degree from the Aula Magna in Milan. Chef de Oliveira also studied at the Accademia Gastronomica Italiana and Accademia Italiana Della Cucina in Italy, both of which honored him with First Place awards for recipes of the Emilia Romagna region.
